Hello -and- hope You are continuing to enjoy your Summer days and making the most of each day!

Thanks for stopping by… always, appreciate your time to check out my thoughts.

Lately, I have been experiencing one of those moments. You know, the type of moment when You feel a bit out of touch and thinking, “what the hell is going on?”

I am reminded, it’s not good to think of yesterday -and- let go of what You can not control.

Should You find yourself within “one of those moments,” remind yourself to begin each day with the acknowledgment that we are very fortunate. What will we do with this gift? That’s the question. “Life is like a game in its final quarter,” George Raveling writes. “The clock is ticking, and we have no idea when the buzzer will sound.”

Each morning when You wake up, life presents us with an opportunity. It’s an opportunity to become the best version of yourself. Each year begins like each day. Each new year offers the same opportunities that we so easily defer or delay—the chance to show up, to make a difference, to become the best version of ourselves.

Learning how to live out that purpose is the greatest ambition we can hope to achieve. Imagine how it would feel to be driven from within like that. To do what You were designed to do day in, day out.

After all the years spent working, retirement should be a time of not only relaxation and reduced stress, but also of meaning, fulfillment, and satisfaction.

We must learn to overcome the non-financial aspects of retirement, the emotional, social and personal adjustments that come with transitioning into this new phase of life -and- to address the challenges like identify loss and relationships for a purposeful life beyond work to remain vibrant for long-term happiness.

With this retirement phase we gain a lot of free time and freedom. It then becomes what we begin to do with the in-between moments. The lulls. The waiting. The extra time we always wanted in our day.

What do you do in these moments? Because these in-between moments, are not insignificant. It’s time we won’t ever get back. So use it. Because it adds up, shaping not only our days, but our lives!

I don’t remember where I read this quote but I made note of it for my reference; “So while you are blessed in this life with this life…use it.”

The right thing is not something we should plan on doing some day. We have to do it right now. While we have the chance. With the resources we have today.

This moment is your moment. This brief period is your time on earth. The only thing You have a say over is how You spend it, who You are inside it. You make your own luck in that sense.

Your story, is now for You to tell!

Continue stepping forward in our Encore phase with enthusiasm and eagerness -and- please continue to take care of yourself, make the most of your days -and- always remember;

Never quit searching, never settle and never give up seeking your greater purpose!
